I’m Fernando “Ski” Romero, a New York-born graffiti artist and muralist. My work has taken me from the streets to galleries, from corporate lobbies to neighborhood walls, always with the same purpose: to bring bold, layered, vibrant energy into spaces that need it. Here’s how I work with clients, brands, and communities.

I create large-scale murals for both indoor and outdoor spaces, transforming offices, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, and public walls into living works of art. My murals range from intimate interiors to multi-story building façades, like the one at Hotel Indigo Williamsburg, or community-centered projects at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx.

Every mural I make is layered with imagery and meaning, built to reward a second and third look. Whether you’re a corporate client looking to energize your space or a neighborhood group trying to revitalize a wall, I bring authentic New York street energy to every project.

Alongside murals, I produce fine art on canvas and mixed media, shown in galleries and private collections across the country and abroad. Over the years, I’ve exhibited with Pop International Galleries in New York and Hamilton-Selway Fine Art in Los Angeles, among others.

My gallery work translates the raw, expressive style of graffiti into refined compositions that collectors and curators connect with. If you’re looking for original pieces that bridge the street and the gallery wall, my studio practice is where that happens.

I’ve collaborated with brands like Davidoff Cigars, Round21, and NBA Lab to bring my aesthetic to products and campaigns. My work has also made its way into pop culture, appearing on shows like House of Lies, Californication, and Ray Donovan.

I enjoy taking on one-of-a-kind projects, whether that means customizing sculptures for events like CowParade New York or building something unique for a brand launch.

Every collaboration is an opportunity to merge my voice with a client’s vision while keeping it real and impactful.

I don’t just make art, I also curate and organize events that bring people and artists together. In 2018, I launched #BrushUp2018, which brought together 31 artists and raised over $50,000 for Smile Design Manhattan.

The next year, I co-curated the “Here and Now” show at POP International Gallery, working with legends like Tats Cru and John “Crash” Matos. I love creating events that combine art, music, and community, always pushing beyond the canvas to create experiences people remember.

One of the most important parts of my career is giving back. I work with inner-city youth through graffiti workshops and community mural projects, helping the next generation find their own voice through art.

At Lincoln Hospital, I collaborated with teens in a gun-violence prevention program to co-create a mural that wove their photographs and stories into the design. Projects like that are why I do what I do: art that doesn’t just decorate a wall, but brings people together and inspires change.

Every wall, canvas, or collaboration starts with a conversation. If you’re looking for a mural that transforms your space, a gallery-ready piece that stands out, or a partnership that carries real impact, I’d love to hear from you. My projects scale from local community walls to global brand campaigns, but the approach is always personal and authentic.
